How do I connect to my Windows server via Remote Desktop?

You can use Remote Desktop to manage your Windows server. This built-in function of Windows Server makes it possible to securely connect to your server and operate it as if you were sitting directly in front of it.

For this you need a Remote Desktop Client. This program is pre-installed with most editions of Windows and can be found under Start > All Programs > Desktop Accessories > Communication > Connecting to Remote Desktop.

For Mac system you can use the following links to download the necessary software.

Connecting

Enter the IP address of your server as the address for the server.

When you have filled in everything correctly you will be greeted by this screen;

Now it's time to change the password of your server and you can do this through the following step-by-step plan;

Select Start > Settings

Then on sign in options

Click on change

And the following screen will popup

enter this as the current password: ToxicServer$123 and follow the steps.

Save the changed password, because if you lose the password we have to delete the server because we no longer have access. You will be charged an additional 15 EURO fee if we need to wipe the server.

Thank you and enjoy your server! For any additional questions please open a ticket.

Cheers,

Toxic Servers
